Course Director for Counselling

Thank you for your interest in the Course Director for Counselling role at BCPC. The Diploma course has recently been reaccredited by BACP to 2014 and already meets many Gold Book requirements. The Course Director role is compatible with teaching on the Diploma Course - please see the Various Tutor Posts information below (counselling teaching days are Mondays and Tuesdays).  Applications for both roles are welcome.

This role is part time, averaging 7 hours per week throughout the year. Pay is in the range of £35,000 to £41,860 per annum pro-rata (based on a full time week of 35 hours).

Various Tutor Posts (Foundation - Counselling - Psychotherapy)

BCPC is seeking new tutors to join the team due to the high level of interest in our courses. There are potential posts on the Foundation Certificate, the Counselling Diploma and the Psychotherapy Diploma. The roles will be part time, and could include co-teaching on various days as follows: Foundation – Thursdays and Saturdays; Counselling – Mondays and Tuesdays; Psychotherapy – Wednesdays and Fridays. Other possibilities may emerge depending on the new student intake.

Services Coordinator required

This part time post is 20 hours per week, spread over 5 days and is to assist in providing counselling and psychotherapy to people in the South West and South Wales as well as to support the administration of the membership and training centre of BCPC.

You will need experience of administration, helpline work (or similar) as well as effective communication and organisation skills.

The successful applicant will receive a salary of £18,000 (pro-rata) as well as the usual holiday and sickness benefits.
